Pittie Sisters Karma & Jezebel's Rescue

Organized by ARME'S BEAGLE FREEDOM PROJECT

What's their story?
While ARME was at the South L.A. pound rescuing other animals, they witnessed a family callously bringing in their two "family" dogs. They were these big, beautiful, Pittie girls; both extremely sweet and loving! While we awaitied paperwrok, all we could hear were the thumping of their wgging tails against the steel cages they were put into, as their family blew kisses goodbye and took pictures. All we could think about is what we know: the pounds are full of Pits - especially the South L.A. pound and they had no chance of getting out of there alive. Long story short, we convinced the family to take them back until we could find placement. We met them and took them to the Pasadena Humane Society in the hopes they would be adopted there, but they have not been adopted and their time is up. We need to pick them up by Monday and we have no place for them. We will have to board them until we can arrange their flight. We have a rescue in Canada that will take them and it will cost approximately $4,000 for all of the travel arrangements; tickets, crates, health certificates, as well as a donation to the rescue. We promised these angels we would get them somewhere safe. Please help us! We are a small non-profit with little funding. Your donations are tax-deductible. THANK YOU!
